Welcome to my - Antoni Ridzki Andromeda - personal site. This site is aimed to support Linux' global growth. I realize that Linux is not as popular as Windows, so I'm glad if I can be part of it to popularize Linux in the world.

One major problem that Linux faced to overcome Windows domination is the people's low awareness about IT. Today, it is not hard for us to find word "information and technology" around. One object that people at least imagine about it is PC. The problem is, now, most of PC retailers - who live near customer - only know Windows. It's awfully hard to find those who know and able to operate Linux.

Meanwhile, in my opinion, life is not just about earn cash, it more of it. There are many things that money can't buy. Although I also know that money isn't everything, but almost everything needs money! Ok, back to my opinion, one way we can enjoy life is doing some charity. Yeah, make yourself useful for the world. But, how? You think it!

This "open source" thing is - in my opinion - also related with charity. That's why I'm willing to support it. The fact is, recently, the 3rd world nations have started to line theirself with industrial countries. One major publication that continuously published to their people is to get and implement IT in their life. They have started to integrate IT to make their job run more effective and efficient. It's not surprising if you see how Google's growing, how fast Intel and AMD inovating their processor, and how smart Acer sells its notebook.

Of course, business always aims to produce profit. This fast growing sector should be handled carefully. And Microsoft has made its way to it. And the result is, Microsoft software in every pc in the world. What an awesome achievement! Unfortunately, Windows(R) is to expensive to buy. Most people at developing country almost can't afford it. That's why piracy level is so high at such countries. And, it is already be a culture.

As a man that willing to involve in business too - I'm willing to reduce this problem. Since I have no power in lowering the Windows(R) price, I move to open source and get my self involved. Together with world's open source community, I fight! I'm not so expert in programming. Therefore I will periodically put my tutor files about using Linux and enhance your computing experience with Linux and another documents here. I hope this can be helpful.

I appreciate all criticisms, suggestions, and addtion in my work sector. Please mail me if you have some. I'm planning this as a lifelong work. I'm doing this in my spare time.
